Discount Auto Rentals in Israel

If you want a cheap car rental in Israel you can often leverage the price with offers that will be matched by competing coupons and campaigns.  Eldan Car Rental Israel and Hertz Car Rental Israel are the two largest autor rental companies and they are quite competitive with each other.  Avis and  and will often offer specials at the same time.  Van and Car rental deals in Israel can often be obtained over the internet in advance from home from most international countries.  Service is usually efficient and a bit brusque. Israel car rental companies will be eager for your business so it's really acceptable to call and negotiate a rate to your liking.  When looking for a good car rental in Israel there are several factors to take into consideration especially when travelling with children.  What is most important to you?  That the vehicle be a sleek, good looking, latest model car?  Safety and reliablility?  The best price? Ask exactly what kind of insurance coverage  is offered for the vehicle, safety features, child safety locks and car seats.  Infant car seats & booster seats are not always available so ask.  Most places employ agents that speak English and a few other languages.  If not, I can help translate for you.

Renting Mini Vans and Ten - Fourteen Seater Vans

When planning a long trip, you might want to ask for extra seats because the Israeli model cars are Europen size meaning smaller than you would expect in the United States.  An extra seat means a bit more space to lounge in.  With kids, if you can afford the extra cost, renting a mini van instead of a car gives you the storage space for strollers and extras and room to separate the kids so they each have a bit of elbow space.

For Ten Seater Vans in Israel or Tour Busses in Israel, e mail me and I'll refer you to my favorite companies for discounted rental rates, vehicles in newer condition and bus drivers according to the purpose you are looking for.  Most bus drivers are former Israeli soldiers, some are religious, most are not.  If you are interested in seeing Jordan on a Saturday you would want a driver that is comfortable with that so make sure to specify.

If you would like help in selecting an Israeli Tour Bus Rental, Van Rentals or Auto Rental that suits your needs, call me and I'll see what I can do to match up what you're looking for with the various Isreal Auto Rental Companies available.  Most hotels in Israel have auto rental services that are either on site or will pick you up to drive you to a rental localtion nearby.

If your consideration is the cost and you'd like to rent a van with a driver for a trip or for your entire stay, licensed van drivers wtih Van models that are 5-7 years old will often give you the best deals.

Driving In Israel

Driving in Israel in General has somewhat of a daring nature to it.  Street signs will warn you two seconds before a critical turn on a highway and tailgating is a national pastime.  Although all street signs will have English translations, the Hebrew street names can detract attention as we decide that it is Ulpan time to read Hebrew.  There are throughfares and tunnels, windy roads and hilly roads, drivers that think they are still in an F-16 and lots of cabs.  When driving with children, Israel Travel Nanny can be a real lifesaver.  Even if you have a calming GPS installed in your Israel car rental, kids in the back can turn any pleasant trip into anything but a vacation. Overall driving in Israel is safe but it does take concentration.  When driving anywhere in Israel, take your travel visa and passport along with your Drivers License as this is required.
